Teracom Infosolutions, can setup a highly qualified and dedicated team for our customers. This team will be an extension of our customers’ team and will work and act like the customers team itself. The customer will manage the team with respect to work, priorities etc.
Global Delivery Team (GDT)
This approach is ideal for software companies who want to beef-up their existing team with expert software developers or simply build an entirely new delivery team to work on a new product/service. With our unique delivery team ramp-up approach we organically grow a team of programmers that is fully integrated within your delivery organization. It's like having your own delivery office at a remote location without the overhead of opening up a new office in a foreign country, recruiting or employee management. The team is 100% dedicated to your project and billing is on a fixed monthly fee per resource.
Initiation
We build your remote delivery team just like you would do it yourself, one developer at a time. We start off with few of our most senior resources who come on-site and start working within your organization, absorbing the business knowledge, technical environment and making the vital social connections necessary to efficiently build a strong working partnership. They would further get involved in planning, analysis and road mapping your needs.
Grow delivery team
Once the onsite team has understood the requirements, and are fully integrated into your organization over a period of 4-6 weeks they then returns to our office and we organically grow the remote delivery team to a desired number and skills. The short onsite visits are planned as and when required.
The development team will be dedicated to work on client projects exclusively. Teracom Infosolutions will endeavor to retain the same team on an ongoing basis as per the wish of the customer. The customer will have the flexibility of altering the size of the team based upon their business needs. Teracom Infosolutions will make sure that any member being added to the team delivers efficient and high quality work by going through technical and functional training before joining the team. This way the customers don’t need to worry about productivity and utilization of the new resources.
Continuous Integration
In addition to the initial ramp-ups, we encourage for some of our developers to work onsite with the customer during critical times such as intense design sessions or the lead-up to an important code freeze. We are also in favor of having some of our client's developers work out of our office for short periods. These continuous interoffice exchanges are essential for long projects with mixed delivery teams.
Designated infrastructure
Teracom Infosolutions will set up all the hardware and software resources required for the project in a designated area. This will include any tools or software required. One of the critical factors for the success of the engagement is the setting up of the development /test environment. The environment here has to replicate the production environment. The application software, database, any third part tools and system configuration parameters should be properly setup for smooth functioning. If there are tools that cannot be purchased, the client will have to loan it to Teracom Infosolutions through the project.
Ongoing project visibility and reporting
Not only does the customer set the standard for this engagement, the customer will also be involved in managing the tasks of the delivery team. This provides complete seamless integration with the customers’ teams and plans.
Communication
The entire team communicates throughout the day via Skype, phone and other communication technologies.
Relationship Management
A relationship executive is assigned to the project to oversee the entire engagement and provide high level status' and updates to clients who are not engaged with the project on a daily basis. In addition we would also setup periodic calls between the executive management teams (customer and Teracom Infosolutions) to make sure that all escalations are addressed in timely fashion.
